All about Barbados

The breathtaking underwater world of the island with coral reefs and many colorful shining fish is such a paradise for divers and snorklers. You can discover several ship wrecks.
It is worth to go out with a snorkel from every beach, you can always watch a few doctorfish or a swarm of grunts or tomtates, if you are lucky there is an angelfish swimming by. You might even get to see a pufferfish, a ray, murano eel or a turtle!
In the water at Coconut Court Hotel there are special underwater pots in a protected area before the sea, there you can watch many different fish and also big sea urgins.
A little bit farther outside, maybe with a jetski or a boat, you can see some flying fish jumping out of the water.
If you dont like to go underwater with tanks yourself you can get on the Atlantis Submarine.
There are many good diving schools, where you could get your diving licence. If you are a little bit concerned, there is no need to, Barbados has got a decompression chamber, The Decompression Chamber
